Over time, this creates the deep and layered scent for which agarwood is known. Because this process cannot be rushed, agarwood has long been valued in Chinese fragrance culture as a material worth experiencing slowly.
Quiet Mountain is handcrafted with agarwood powder, natural wood powder, botanical extracts, and a plant-based binder. As it burns, it releases a deep, warm woody fragrance without the noticeable sweetness of floral incense or the familiar coffee-like character of our Latte blend. It is a good choice for anyone who prefers a darker, more grounded scent in the home.
This incense fits naturally into an evening routine. Light a stick in a well-ventilated living room after dinner and tidying up, then listen to music through your phone or speakers, watch a favorite show, answer the last few messages of the day, or prepare tomorrow’s schedule. The included gold-toned holder is designed only to support the incense stick. It does not catch falling ash. Use it as a temporary option or place it inside a separate, heat-resistant ash-catching tray.
Do not place the small holder directly on a tabletop, wooden furniture, fabric, or any surface that may be damaged by heat or falling ash.
For regular use, we recommend an incense holder or long tray that keeps the stick secure and catches ash along its full length.
Make sure the incense stick is stable before lighting it. If the stick does not fit the opening, do not force it into the holder.
Light the tip, then gently blow out the flame until only a glowing ember remains.
Place the incense holder or tray on a level, stable, heat-resistant, nonflammable surface. Keep the burning tip and falling ash safely away from the edge.
Keep the room gently ventilated, but avoid fans, air-conditioning vents, and strong drafts from open windows, as these may affect the burn or scatter ash.
Keep burning incense away from curtains, paper, and other flammable materials, as well as children and pets. Never move it while burning or leave it unattended. Do not burn incense while sleeping.
The sticks are slender and should be handled gently. Remove one at a time and avoid bending, squeezing, or placing heavy objects on them.
Because each stick is handmade, slight differences in color, thickness, length, and surface texture may occur. A small amount of loose incense powder may also appear during shipping or handling; this is normal.
After use, make sure the ember and ash are fully extinguished and completely cool before cleaning.
Return unused sticks to the inner case and outer box. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, heavy pressure, drops, and impact.
Orders are usually processed and prepared for shipment within 2-3 days after payment.
