Nha Trang is a coastal city in south-central Vietnam with a long connection to agarwood. Historically, agarwood from Vietnam and nearby regions traveled through maritime trade into China, where it was ground into powder and blended with other botanical materials to make incense. This brought together Southeast Asian aromatic wood and Chinese incense-making traditions.
Ancient Rainforest is handcrafted with Nha Trang agarwood powder, natural wood powder, botanical extracts, and a plant-based binder. It produces a deep, refined woody fragrance with a noticeable resinous character. Compared with the warmer and more settled woodiness of Quiet Mountain, this blend places greater emphasis on resinous depth and the layers that emerge as the stick burns.
This incense is well suited to rainy days at home. The included gold-toned holder is designed only to support the incense stick. It does not catch falling ash. Use it as a temporary option or place it inside a separate, heat-resistant ash-catching tray.
Do not place the small holder directly on a tabletop, wooden furniture, fabric, or any surface that may be damaged by heat or falling ash.
For regular use, we recommend an incense holder or long tray that keeps the stick secure and catches ash along its full length.
Make sure the incense stick is stable before lighting it. If the stick does not fit the opening, do not force it into the holder.
Light the tip, then gently blow out the flame until only a glowing ember remains.
Place the incense holder or tray on a level, stable, heat-resistant, nonflammable surface. Keep the burning tip and falling ash safely away from the edge.
Keep the room gently ventilated, but avoid fans, air-conditioning vents, and strong drafts from open windows, as these may affect the burn or scatter ash.
Keep burning incense away from curtains, paper, and other flammable materials, as well as children and pets. Never move it while burning or leave it unattended. Do not burn incense while sleeping.
The sticks are slender and should be handled gently. Remove one at a time and avoid bending, squeezing, or placing heavy objects on them.
Because each stick is handmade, slight differences in color, thickness, length, and surface texture may occur. A small amount of loose incense powder may also appear during shipping or handling; this is normal.
After use, make sure the ember and ash are fully extinguished and completely cool before cleaning.
Return unused sticks to the inner case and outer box. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, heavy pressure, drops, and impact.
