For those who enjoy watching incense as much as smelling it, these sandalwood backflow cones bring a visual dimension to an everyday ritual.
The fragrance is warm and woody. When paired with a compatible backflow burner, the smoke can descend through its channels in a waterfall-like flow, creating a changing display alongside the scent.
Make it part of an afternoon tea break or a quiet moment with a book, with the burner safely positioned nearby and in sight. Choose this format when you want more than fragrance alone: the familiar warmth of sandalwood, with a small visual focal point to enjoy.
• Format: Backflow incense cones
• Composition: Sandalwood fragrance, natural wood powder, botanical extracts, and a plant-based binder
• Craftsmanship: Handcrafted
• Cone Size: Approx. 1 cm diameter x 2.7 cm high / 0.39 x 1.06 in
• Burn Time: Approx. 10-15 minutes per cone
• Construction: Hollow base channel designed to guide smoke downward
• Compatible Burner: Use only with a backflow incense burner whose smoke opening aligns with the cone channel
• Box Contents: 24 incense cones, 1 individual-slot inner tray, and 1 flip-top outer box
• Actual burn time and downward smoke flow may vary with airflow, humidity, cone position, and burner design.
• For home fragrance only. Do not eat. Place 1 cone on a compatible backflow burner and align the hollow channel in the cone base with the burner's smoke opening.
• Light the tip, let it catch, then gently blow out the flame so only a glowing ember remains. The downward smoke flow may take a few minutes to begin.
• Set the burner on a level, stable, heat-resistant, nonflammable surface away from the edge. Make sure it can contain falling ash and any residue produced during use.
• Keep the room gently ventilated, but avoid fans, air vents, and strong drafts. Keep cones, smoke, ash, and the burner away from food, drinks, tableware, curtains, paper, and other flammable or heat-sensitive items.
• Keep burning incense in sight and away from children and pets. Never move the burner while hot, leave it unattended, or use it while sleeping. Allow it to cool fully before cleaning ash or oily residue.
• Small differences in colour, size, shape, and surface texture, along with a little loose powder, are normal for handcrafted incense. Store unused cones in the inner tray and closed outer box in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.

CUSTOMER NOTES
I came for the smoke effect and stayed for sandalwood. Having a woody option for the backflow burner suits me.
I enjoy these for a short, visual incense session. For simple background fragrance I still reach for sticks. This is a nice addition to what I already use, even if it hasn't replaced my usual format.
The smoke moved cleanly through the channel of my glass-covered burner and the sandalwood did not smell sweet or artificial. A small amount of smoke also rises normally from the top, which is expected. Ventilation afterward helps clear the final burnt note.
The sandalwood is dry and warm, and the downward smoke formed well once the cone had been burning for a minute. It worked best after I turned off the ceiling fan. The scent is a little strong at close range, so I place the burner across the room.
Sandalwood is a safe bet for my tastes, so I started here when I bought my first backflow burner. I'm glad I did. I could enjoy the wood fragrance while figuring out a different incense format.
I use one cone while setting up for yoga in the morning. The sandalwood scent is soft and woody, and the downward smoke starts after the cone has been burning for a bit. It’s a nice visual without requiring a long session.
What stands out most is classic sandalwood without sugary fragrance. I used it after cleaning the downstairs area, and it added a polished atmosphere without distracting from what I was doing. The cone aligned easily with my compatible burner and produced a clear waterfall effect. A quick wipe of the smoke path afterward kept everything tidy.
The sandalwood smell is the part I like most. With backflow incense I also have a burner to clean after everything cools, which is more effort than my plain stick holder. Worth it occasionally, rather than every day for me.
This was exactly the fragrance profile I hoped for: warm sandalwood with a clean dry finish. I used it while unwinding in the living room, and it added a polished atmosphere without distracting from what I was doing. With my compatible backflow burner in still air, the smoke formed a smooth downward stream after the cone warmed. The burner is not included, but the cones performed beautifully with the one I already own.
The cone lasts about as long as my short meditation. I like watching the smoke settle into the burner while the room picks up a mild woody scent. It feels focused and doesn’t take over the whole morning.
The scent opens with gentle creamy timber balanced by incense warmth. I used it during a quiet evening at home, and it added a polished atmosphere without distracting from what I was doing. The backflow effect was reliable on my existing burner with the fan off. I like that the aroma has enough presence to complement the display without overwhelming the room.
I like that the cone gives me a complete session without lasting all evening. The sandalwood becomes softer after the initial lighting smoke clears. Four stars because the burnt note is noticeable for the first minute, but the rest of the burn is enjoyable.
A long coil doesn't fit into most of my afternoons. One cone does. I like taking a little time to enjoy the sandalwood and watch the smoke before returning to whatever I was working on, once the incense is fully out.
From the first full burn, I noticed mellow wood and a faint toasted softness. I used it during a relaxed weekend breakfast, and it added a polished atmosphere without distracting from what I was doing. I placed it on my own backflow burner away from vents, and the cascade stayed visible for most of the session. The scent and visual effect felt equally well balanced.
Some backflow cones are mostly about the visual, but this one has a pleasant sandalwood fragrance too. The smoke moves best when the air is still. I use it on a heat-resistant surface as part of my morning routine.
These cones create a smooth backflow stream on my burner as long as the room is calm. The fragrance is woody and more natural than the assorted cones that came with my burner. There is some residue afterward, so I wipe the smoke path after each use.
I have used several pieces now, and each one gives a smooth woody profile that feels natural. I used it while family visits in the afternoon, and it added a polished atmosphere without distracting from what I was doing. Once the initial lighting smoke passed, the fragrance became clear and the downward flow looked continuous. It is a lovely short session when I want both scent and movement.
All three cones I tried produced the waterfall effect and stayed lit. The scent carries farther than I expected in my apartment, so one is plenty. I would prefer a touch less intensity, but the woody profile is much better than the generic backflow cones I had.
The first time I tried it, the smoke didn’t line up because my burner was slightly tilted. Once I leveled it and centered the cone, the backflow worked well. The sandalwood fragrance is warm and smoother than I expected.
