Incense with a bamboo core is made by coating a bamboo stick with an incense mixture. Both the mixture and the bamboo burn during use. Our coreless incense is formed directly from powdered incense ingredients, without a central bamboo stick or the additional smell of burning bamboo.

We choose this design because it leaves out the bamboo core, keeps the focus on the incense blend itself, and gives each stick its slender shape.

Start with when and where you plan to use incense: while working, during tea, or in a quiet evening at home. Then consider how long you want it to burn and which holder or burner you have.

These three formats differ in shape, burn time, setup, and how the smoke moves. Choose based on how long you want the ritual to last and the holder or burner you have.

Coreless incense sticks — approximately 30–60 minutes
Slim sticks without a bamboo core. They are simple to light and suit mornings, work sessions, tea breaks, or quiet evenings. Use a stable incense holder that catches the ash.

Incense coils — approximately 90–120 minutes
Coils burn longer and work well for extended tea sessions, reading, yoga, time with friends, or an unhurried evening. Separate interlocked coils carefully and place one coil in a compatible coil burner.

Backflow incense cones — approximately 10–15 minutes
Backflow cones have a hollow channel and require a compatible backflow burner. Part of the smoke travels downward through the burner, creating a cascading visual effect.

Burn times are estimates and may vary with the environment and use. Keep burning incense attended and use it only in a well-ventilated area.
