Volgens een oud Chinees verhaal groeit er een welig tierende osmanthusboom op de maan. In de loop der tijd is deze bloem daardoor verbonden geraakt met avondbijeenkomsten, familiereünies en het ontvangen van gasten. Osmanthus wordt ook veel gebruikt om thee en traditionele zoetigheden op smaak te brengen; het warme, zachtzoete aroma wordt daarom vaak geassocieerd met gesprekken en maaltijden aan tafel.
Deze geur is gecreëerd met het oog op het dagelijkse theemoment en het ontvangen van gasten. Steek hem aan terwijl je de woonkamer opruimt, de kopjes klaarzet of thee en koffie bereidt in afwachting van vrienden of familie. Ook tijdens een informeel drankje met wat hapjes thuis komt de geur goed tot zijn recht; hij zorgt voor een warme, bloemige achtergrond zonder dat de sfeer formeel aanvoelt.
Gouden Osmanthus-wierookstokjes passen beter bij een langer moment na thuiskomst. Deze Gouden Tuin-terugstroomkegels zijn bedoeld voor korte momenten voordat er gasten komen of bij een drankje. Hoewel osmanthus in China traditioneel met de herfst wordt geassocieerd, kun je het hele jaar door van deze geur genieten.

• De werkelijke brandduur en de rookstroom naar beneden kunnen variëren afhankelijk van de luchtstroom, de luchtvochtigheid, de stand van de kegel en het ontwerp van de brander.
• Uitsluitend bedoeld als huisparfum. Niet innemen. Plaats 1 kegel op een geschikte terugstroombrander en zorg ervoor dat het holle kanaal in de voet van de kegel op één lijn ligt met de rookopening van de brander.
• Steek het uiteinde aan, laat het vlam vatten en blaas de vlam vervolgens voorzichtig uit, zodat er alleen een gloeiende sintel overblijft. Het kan een paar minuten duren voordat de rook naar beneden begint te stromen.
• Plaats de brander op een vlak, stabiel, hittebestendig en onbrandbaar oppervlak, uit de buurt van de rand. Zorg ervoor dat vallende as en eventuele resten die tijdens het gebruik ontstaan, kunnen worden opgevangen.
• Zorg voor een lichte ventilatie in de ruimte, maar vermijd ventilatoren, luchtroosters en sterke tocht. Houd de kegels, rook, as en de brander uit de buurt van eten, drinken, serviesgoed, gordijnen, papier en andere brandbare of warmtegevoelige voorwerpen.
• Houd de brandende wierook altijd in het zicht en buiten het bereik van kinderen en huisdieren. Verplaats de wierookbrander nooit als deze nog heet is, laat hem niet onbeheerd achter en gebruik hem niet terwijl u slaapt. Laat de brander volledig afkoelen voordat u as of olieachtige resten verwijdert.
• Kleine verschillen in kleur, grootte, vorm en oppervlaktestructuur, evenals een beetje los poeder, zijn normaal bij handgemaakte wierook. Bewaar ongebruikte kegels in het binnenste bakje en de gesloten buitenverpakking op een koele, droge plaats, uit de buurt van zonlicht en vocht.

Once the dishes are put away, I like having something on the table besides another screen. I set the burner on its heat-safe tray and enjoy a cone nearby. The osmanthus scent is a pleasant floral change from my wood incense.
Rose was the only floral backflow scent I had used before this. Osmanthus gave me a different flower fragrance to try without changing my burner. I like having both now instead of buying the same box each time.
From the first full burn, I noticed gentle golden flowers over a dry base.
