Nha Trang è una città costiera del Vietnam centro-meridionale, da lungo tempo legata al legno di agar. In passato, il legno di agar proveniente dal Vietnam e dalle regioni vicine arrivava in Cina attraverso il commercio marittimo, dove veniva ridotto in polvere e mescolato con altri ingredienti vegetali per produrre incenso. Si incontravano così i legni aromatici del Sud-est asiatico e le tradizioni cinesi di produzione dell’incenso.
Questo incenso si presta bene alle giornate di pioggia trascorse in casa. Quando il maltempo ti fa cambiare i programmi all’aperto, accendi un bastoncino in un soggiorno ben ventilato mentre prepari una bevanda calda, guardi un film, riordini lo spazio o ascolti musica dal telefono o dagli altoparlanti. La sua fragranza legnosa e profonda dà carattere a un lungo pomeriggio trascorso in casa.
Questo incenso si presta anche ai momenti dopo le faccende domestiche del fine settimana, o a quando hai il tempo di scoprire il profumo poco alla volta. Se ami le note legnose profonde e cerchi un carattere più resinoso rispetto a un profumo di legno morbido e cremoso, Antica foresta pluviale è una scelta adatta.

La durata effettiva della combustione può variare in base al flusso d'aria, alla temperatura, all'umidità, allo spessore del bastoncino e all'angolo di posizionamento.
Brucia con intenzione
• Il piccolo supporto in dotazione sostiene il bastoncino ma non raccoglie la cenere. Posizionarlo all’interno di un vassoio separato, resistente al calore, sufficientemente capiente da raccogliere la cenere che cade.
• Inserisci delicatamente il bastoncino e assicurati che sia ben saldo. Non forzarlo in un’apertura troppo piccola. Accendi la punta, poi spegni la fiamma finché non rimane solo una brace incandescente.
• Utilizzare l’incenso su una superficie piana, stabile, resistente al calore e non infiammabile. Tenere la punta accesa e la cenere che cade a debita distanza dal bordo.
• Tenere l’incenso acceso lontano da tende, carta, tessuti, prodotti aerosol e altri oggetti infiammabili o sensibili al calore. Tenerlo fuori dalla portata dei bambini e degli animali domestici. Non spostarlo mai mentre è acceso, non lasciarlo incustodito e non utilizzarlo mentre si dorme.
• Mantenere la stanza leggermente ventilata, ma evitare ventilatori, bocchette d’aria e correnti d’aria forti che potrebbero compromettere la combustione o disperdere la cenere.
• Maneggiare con delicatezza i bastoncini sottili. Lievi differenze di colore, spessore, lunghezza e consistenza superficiale, così come una piccola quantità di polvere libera, sono normali per l’incenso artigianale.
• Dopo l'uso, assicurarsi che le braci e la cenere siano completamente spente e fredde. Conservare i bastoncini non utilizzati nel tubetto e nella confezione esterna in un luogo fresco e asciutto, al riparo dalla luce solare diretta, dall'umidità, dalla pressione e dagli urti.
