Jasmine did not originate in China, but after arriving through ancient trade, it gradually became part of everyday Chinese life and one of the best-known fragrances in Chinese tea culture. For many people, the scent of jasmine is connected not only with the flower itself but also with a familiar cup of jasmine tea.
Traditional jasmine tea is made by layering fresh blossoms with tea leaves so the leaves absorb their fragrance. The flowers are then removed, leaving their scent behind. It is similar to infusing a drink with herbs, vanilla, or citrus peel—the original ingredient may no longer be visible, but its aroma remains.

• Set the burner on a level, stable, heat-resistant, nonflammable surface away from the edge. Make sure it can contain falling ash and any residue produced during use.
• Keep the room gently ventilated, but avoid fans, air vents, and strong drafts. Keep cones, smoke, ash, and the burner away from food, drinks, tableware, curtains, paper, and other flammable or heat-sensitive items.
• Keep burning incense in sight and away from children and pets. Never move the burner while hot, leave it unattended, or use it while sleeping. Allow it to cool fully before cleaning ash or oily residue.
• Small differences in color, size, shape, and surface texture, along with a little loose powder, are normal for handcrafted incense. Store unused cones in the inner tray and closed outer box in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.

The jasmine direction is pleasant, and I like that a cone suits a shorter break. The tradeoff is having a more specific burner setup than I need for sticks. I enjoy this when I want to make a little occasion of it.
The smoke waterfall lasted for most of the cone and looked especially good in low evening light. The jasmine is warm and slightly creamy. Four stars because two cones took a second attempt to light, although both stayed burning afterward.
