In Mandarin, the words for “persimmon” and “matter” are both pronounced shì. The Chinese character nà on the front means to receive or welcome. Together with the two persimmons, it tells a simple story of welcoming good things into the home. The bird perched above feels like an early visitor, adding the sense that welcome news is already on its way. When coil incense is lit inside, smoke drifts gently through the openwork panels and sculpted branches, turning the still symbolism into a living scene. • Variations in color depth, mottled texture, and blue-green patina effects are normal results of the antique-style finishing process. They do not affect the overall appearance or function.
• The branches, bird, leaves, and persimmons on the lid are raised decorative details. Handle the burner gently and support it from underneath rather than lifting or pressing on the upper sculpture.
• Always place coil incense on the included fireproof pad. Do not allow burning incense, embers, or hot ash to touch the metal base directly.
• Before use, make sure the coil lies flat and does not touch the inner walls. The metal body and lid may become hot during use. Allow them to cool completely before opening, moving, or cleaning the burner.
• Place the burner on a level, stable, and heat-resistant surface in a properly ventilated room. Keep it away from flammable materials, children, and pets, and never leave burning incense unattended.
• Once completely cool, remove the ash and clean the burner with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Avoid prolonged contact with water, acidic cleaning products, or damp conditions to protect the antique finish.

CUSTOMER NOTES
The bird and persimmon details are what drew me to this burner. They also make the top a little more involved to dust. I enjoy having it out, but I wouldn't choose it if I wanted a completely plain, quick-to-wipe shape.
I liked the detailed shape immediately, but it looked a little crowded among several other ornaments. Moving it to a clearer surface helped. For my room it works better as one noticeable piece than part of a busy arrangement.
This has become one of the easiest decorative pieces to keep out. With the lid in place, it looks like a decorative object rather than incense equipment. I used it between uses on an open shelf. Guests noticed the design before realizing what it was used for.
Reading about the persimmon design made the little fruit and bird more interesting to me. It's a pleasant object to have near my chair.
