These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you visit moritaste.com, use our website, create an account, complete our incense recommendation quiz, place an order, or contact MORI TASTE. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

1. About MORI TASTE
MORI TASTE is an incense and incense-accessory brand based in Guangzhou, China. We offer Eastern incense traditions for modern everyday rituals, including incense sticks, incense coils, backflow incense, incense burners, incense holders, gift sets, and incense-and-burner sets. We sell through moritaste.com to customers in destinations supported at checkout. Product availability, prices, currencies, delivery options, and free-shipping thresholds may vary by destination.2. Eligibility and Legal Capacity
You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your place of residence to place an order. If you use the website on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. Our products are intended for adult purchase and responsible use. Keep incense, burners, matches, lighters, and hot ash away from children and pets.3. Product Information
We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. However, colors, textures, grain patterns, glaze finishes, packaging, and other details may look slightly different on different screens or between individual items. Natural materials and production methods can also create reasonable variation. Product names, dimensions, materials, scent notes, burn times, quantities, and compatibility information are provided on the relevant product page. Any reference to an item as handmade, hand-finished, natural, or made from a particular material applies only when that claim appears on the specific product page. Our incense sticks are coreless and do not contain a bamboo core. Backflow incense must be used with a suitable backflow burner to create the intended downward-smoke effect. Always check the product description before purchase.4. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the products in your cart. An automatic order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. We accept an order when it is processed for dispatch, unless applicable law requires acceptance at an earlier point. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if a product is unavailable, payment is not authorized, pricing or product information contains an obvious error, fraud or misuse is suspected, delivery is not available to the address provided, or legal restrictions prevent us from fulfilling the order. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method. Please review your contact, delivery, product, quantity, and customization details before submitting an order. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information.5. Prices, Currency, and Payment
Prices are displayed in a supported currency based on the website settings, selected currency, or customer location. Exchange rates and locally displayed prices may change. The final price and currency shown at checkout control your order. Available payment methods may include PayPal and payment methods processed through WooPayments. Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy practices, security checks, or currency-conversion charges. MORI TASTE does not receive or store your complete card number. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the total shown at checkout, including any shipping charge that applies.6. Promotions and Discounts
Discount codes, automatic discounts, bundle savings, free-shipping offers, and other promotions are subject to the conditions shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, have no cash value, and may be limited by product, destination, customer, or time period. For an incense-and-burner set, the discount displayed in the set-building flow applies only to eligible combinations and is calculated according to the current offer shown before checkout.7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders may be dispatched from a warehouse in China or the United States. The dispatch location depends on product availability, destination, and fulfilment needs; customers cannot choose the warehouse. We normally need 2–3 calendar days to prepare an order before dispatch. Estimated delivery is normally 5–8 calendar days after dispatch, for an estimated total of approximately 7–11 calendar days from order placement. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Shipping charges and free-shipping thresholds are shown in the customer’s active currency and may differ by country or region. The checkout total is the authoritative amount. Delays, Lost Packages, and Delivery Problems
Delivery can be affected by customs, carrier capacity, weather, public holidays, remote locations, address problems, or events outside our reasonable control. Tracking updates may also take time to appear after dispatch. If tracking has not updated for an unusual period, the estimated delivery window has passed, or a package appears lost, contact us with your order number. We will review the available tracking information and work with the carrier or fulfilment partner as appropriate. You are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, or an uncollected package may be deducted from a refund where permitted by law.9. Order Changes and Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee a change or cancellation once fulfilment has started or the order has been dispatched. If an order has already shipped, the applicable return process and any mandatory consumer rights will apply.10. Returns, Product Problems, and Refunds
Our standard return period is 30 calendar days from delivery. Returned items must meet the eligibility conditions in our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy. We do not charge a restocking fee. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, contact us promptly with the order number and clear photos or other requested evidence. Do not discard the product or packaging until we have reviewed the issue. We do not provide direct exchanges. If a return is approved, the usual process is to return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the preferred product. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method; processing time after issue depends on the payment provider. Do not send a return without contacting us first. The correct return address may be different from our business location and from the dispatch address printed on the package.11. EU, EEA, and UK Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible distance-purchase contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period generally begins when you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods. To exercise this right, contact us with a clear statement before the deadline. You must normally return the eligible goods within 14 days after notifying us. Unless the goods are faulty or applicable law requires otherwise, you are responsible for the direct return cost. The right of withdrawal may not apply to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after unsealing, personalized goods, or other legally excluded items. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.12. Wholesale Orders
Wholesale inquiries and approved wholesale orders may be subject to separate minimum quantities, prices, lead times, payment terms, shipping arrangements, and product-use conditions. Safe Use of Incense and Accessories
Burn incense only in a suitable holder or burner on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface. Keep it away from curtains, paper, dry plants, drafts, children, and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended. Use in a ventilated space and allow burners and ash to cool before touching, moving, or cleaning them. Follow the instructions supplied with the specific incense, burner, or holder. Stop using a product if it appears damaged or unsafe. Incense is not food and must not be swallowed. Our website content is for general product and lifestyle information. It is not medical advice, and our products are not presented as diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing a disease or health condition.14. Incense Recommendation Quiz
Our incense recommendation quiz provides general shopping suggestions based on the answers entered during the current browser session. Quiz results are not a guarantee that a product will suit every preference or circumstance. Quiz answers are used to generate recommendations during the session and are not saved to your customer account or linked to your identity. If you have not completed the quiz, a recommendation link may open the quiz first; after completion, it may open your recommendation results.15. Accounts and Acceptable Website Use
You may browse and order without creating an account where guest checkout is available. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity conducted through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content in a way that violates law or our rights, use the website for fraud, or place orders using false or unauthorized information.
